Physician

Dr. Sita Boppana is a board-certified internist. She is a member of American College of Physicians and Texas Medical Association. She attended Guntur Medical College in India and completed her Internal Medicine residency at Providence Hospital in Southfield, Michigan. She participated as a research associate in the Department of Gastroenterology at Wayne State University in Detroit.

Dr Boppana has been serving the North Texas area since 1997 as Primary care Physician. She also worked in Nursing homes, Wound care centers, Acute care hospitals and Outpatient clinics.

She is clinically affiliated with UT Southwestern (UTSCAP). She  serves as a preceptor for medical students from UT Southwestern (Dallas) and UNT (Fort Worth). She also serves as a preceptor for Nurse Practioner, Physican assistant, and PhD students from different local and nationwide schools.

Caring for patients with compassionate and personal care is what Dr Boppana enjoys the most. She treats her patients with comprehensive approach, listen to their concerns, educate about their health condition and value their preferences. Her friendly and approachable demeanor enables her to connect well with her patients.
